Seed Collection -
Late in the fall, once flowers heads are brown and dry. Loosen seeds from seed head, allow to dry for a few weeks.

- Cold/moist stratify for 60 days. Store seeds in a small plastic baggie that contains a sufficient amount of vermiculite to cover seed. In an attempt to become more sustainable we are beginning to use small plastic vitamin bottles to stratify seeds. The draw back is containers take up more space in refrigerator than baggies.

Germination Rates 2016 - Highly successful! Flat of seedlings were started February 2016
