Wildlife Significance

Water - Perfoliate leaves hold water for a wide variety of wildlife, long-tongued bees, butterflies, and skippers that are especially fond of the Cup Plant’s pollen.

Pollen - Nectar - Wasps, bee flies, and various short-tongued bees  The Chickadees, Goldfinches and I were in constant competition for the seeds.

Seed - Birds - I have noticed Chickadees, Goldfinches on this plant
